| Description: | November is the month when DG Employment, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities publishes its Employment in Europe report. Employment Week 2010 will provide a forum for discussion of the outcomes of the report, and an arena in which to work through the policy issues raised within it. Employment Week will also focus on the key EU themes for 2010 and 2011 - tackling poverty and social exclusion, and exploring the EU wide benefits of volunteering. To better reflect these closer ties to and greater cooperation with the European Commission, the event Employment Week was renamed in The European Employment Forum. The conference programme is being developed. Key speakers: - Mr Jöel Decaillon, Deputy General Secretary, European Trade Union Confederation - Professor John Wrench, Senior Scientific Officer, European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights - Ms Nadja Hirsch, Member of the European Parliament - Mr Göran Hultin, Chairman and CEO Caden Corporation.
