TEPs Topics

The main tasks of the Austrian TEPs are the co-ordination of partners and their topics, the preparation of working programmes and the implementation of measures according to the TEP strategy. Additional information about their main activities is available at TEPs in Austria.

In addition to the main activities the TEPs as regional networks and information discs work on a huge variety of topics. The TEPs link labour market and employment policies with other policies, such as for example social, educational, structural and economic policies. The TEPs, over time, handle more and more topics as informed by the national TEP evaluation (Evaluation of the European Social Fund 2000-2006, Austrian Objective 3 Programme, priority 6. WIFO, 2003): The extension of topics concerns more and other policies than only the regional labour market and structural policy.

The topics and policy areas of the partnerships vary according to the TEPs role, function and emphasis. For further information on each TEP please contact the respective provincial TEP co-ordination office.

In the following, you will find basic information about major topics covered by the TEPs as regards their co-operation and joint efforts taken on national level.
