Innovative projects in ESF Priority 1 “Adaptability of workers and enterprises” and ESF Priority 2 “Fighting unemployment“
2.5% of the budget of the priorities 1 and 2 of the Operational Programme for Employment Austria 2007-2013 / ESF are reserved for innovative projects with the objective to support the further development of the priorities by
- Developing, implementing and evaluating new activities in the areas defined in the priorities;
- Focusing on institutional interfaces of labour market and social policies, and
- Critically evaluating the cooperation of institutions and their instruments.
As cooperation and coordination of different policy areas are key competences of the Territorial Employment Pacts they were invited in 2011 to submit project proposals.
Currently projects are being developed or implemented in eight TEPs. Some projects already started in 2011, the majority of them at the beginning of 2012.
They focus on the following areas: School, education and training, migration/integration, (regional) economy, integration of marginalised groups into the labour market, interfaces of institutions and policy areas.
